Rev. James Trapp

President and CEO of the Association of Unity Churches

Rev. Trapp was ordained in 1994 and served at Unity on the Bay in Miami, Florida for ten years. At Unity on the Bay, he was instrumental in creating a growing and dynamic spiritual community that was racially, ethnically and culturally diverse mirroring the wide spectrum of people who live in South Florida. Under his leadership, Unity on the Bay grew from an average Sunday attendance of 125 to more than 1300.

Rev. Trapp believes that Unity principles, such as honoring the divinity of all people, are relevant to select societal issues. He is a keynote speaker at interfaith Service for Religious leaders, organizations and politicians who support equal treatment of all people.

Charlotte Shelton

President/CEO of Unity

Charlotte Shelton has been associated with Unity for more than 30 years and is a member of Unity Church of Overland Park, Kansas. She has been active on leadership, visioning and strategic planning teams for the Association of Unity Churches International, the service organization for nearly 1,000 Unity churches and centers worldwide. She is the author of two books based on Unity principles, Quantum Leaps: 7 Skills for Workplace Re-Creation, and The NeXt Revolution; What Gen X Women Want at Work and How their Boomer Bosses Can Help Them Get It.

Lynne Brown

Vice-President of Silent Unity

Lynne Brown serves as vice-president of Silent Unity, the trans-denominational prayer ministry of Unity. She is an ordained Unity minister and has served Unity in various capacities for more than 25 years. She is responsible for all facets of the prayer ministry domestically and abroad, including the international activities of 13 affiliate ministries around the world. Lynne also oversees the editorial office of Daily Word, the monthly inspirational magazine that is printed in seven languages and distributed to over 1 million people in 175 countries around the world.
