“We all have to ask ourselves-
In every encounter, in every interaction, in every connection, did I make the world better or worse?”

Beloveds!

That is a quote from the book we are studying together this month, Yes You Can Change the World by Aman Motwane. We have a golden opportunity this month to do something besides just study together. We have a chance to actually Practice IT! And what is IT you ask? This simple yet profound book leads us on a journey into ourselves and gives us the insights to find a different way to interact in our relationships with each other.

We all know the sayings du jour: Be here now! Live in the moment! Find your bliss! When you really stop and think about it what do they mean? And how do you do it? This books journey is about a man who has come home to attend his father’s wake and funeral after a long absence and a busy life that kept him away for many years. What he finds when he comes home are long lines of people waiting to visit his father. Who are all of these people? Why are they all here? What could his father possibly have done in his life to have so many people come to his wake? As he goes looking for answers to those questions he finds answers that completely rock his world. These answers are also the means by which we can come to not only understand how to live in the moment but to live and express our bliss as well. We have copies of this book available for you to purchase in the welcome zone. Please pick up a copy so that we can all take this journey together. It is easy to read, heart warming and you will find as you take the steps in changing your world it will lead to changing THE world at the same time.

You will notice on our home page here we have a link to the left that says Yes You Can Change the World. If you click on that link you will be asked to register to the website. Here is where the fun begins! As we all register our names and e-mail addresses on this site we can all begin to send each other “ripples.” As we practice sending ripples (and maybe for some of you practice receiving them!) we will begin the process of seeing the good in those we meet, sharing what we see so that they can see it and find it in themselves, and then pass along the good feelings to others so that soon we are all touching each others lives and expanding those ripples of Faith, Hope, Love and Joy outward in ever expanding ripples into the world.

We say in Unity that we all have the Divine Presence within us. Now is the time that we find that Presence within ourselves, look for it in all that we meet (YES it is there!) and share what we see with others so they can see their spirit reflected back. We are the people…and do any of you doubt that Now IS the time? I see the Divine Presence in each and every one of you! So let the Ripples begin!

In Love,

Rev. Erica
